Just yesterday, the U.S. Embassy sent out a message, urging Americans to evacuate and avoid the gates at the airport in Kabul. Mike Slater, desperate for hope, thought maybe, just maybe, the American military wanted to start some type of operation to gain control and help the stranded to safety. Now, we are all faced with reports of the bombings in Kabul, causalities reported, and even reports of an Italian plane being shot at during takeoff. Nearly two dozen San Diego students and families are now trapped in Afghanistan, and hope is now diminishing as the Afghanistan crisis worsens. Mike Slater shares his thoughts on the dire situation in Afghanistan.
