After the U.S. embassy advised Americans stranded in Afghanistan to evacuate to the Kabul airport, without ensuring their safety, the U.S. embassy is now telling Americans that they shouldn’t even try getting to the airport, due to the dire situation going on in and around Kabul airport. The government’s lack of leadership during the crisis, along with their failure to tell us the full story, or give us any straight answers, show what an incompetent mess they truly are.
