‘YOU CALLED ME OUT BY NAME!’ MTG Blasts NYC Mayor Eric Adams

Georgia Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene went on the offensive against New York City Mayor Eric Adams on Tuesday, accusing Adams of sending henchmen to “commit assault on people” and blaming him for NYC’s crime rate. Rep. Greene said her comments were in response to Adams telling her to be on her “best behavior” during a press conference on Monday.

“To Mayor Adams–as you can see I’m sitting here peacefully protesting, but you called me out by name,” Rep. Greene told the crowd of Trump supporters. “While you allow crime in your streets and you send your henchmen down here to commit assault on people…assault on police officers who are doing their jobs trying to keep things civil.”

During a press conference on Monday, Mayor Adams issued a warning to Rep. Greene and other Trump supporters who planned on protesting the President’s arraignment.

“This city is our home, not a playground for your misplaced anger,” Adams told reporters. “Although we have no specific threats, people like Marjorie Taylor Greene, who is known to spread misinformation and hate speech, as she stated she’s coming to town, while you’re in town, be on your best behavior.”
