U.S. braces for Floyd trial, unrest | Bill O’Reilly

The George Floyd murder trial opened on Monday but was postponed while prosecutors consider filing a third charge against the accused, Derek Chauvin.

The National Guard has already been called up as violence is likely to unfold upon the case’s conclusion, said Bill O’Reilly. The accompanying officers are being tried separately, he added.

The prosecution hopes to prove that Chauvin, 44, intended to kill Mr. Floyd. The defense will argue that the presence of drugs in the victim’s system played a role in his death, he explained.
