Representative and NY Governor Candidate Lee Zeldin has campaigned on improving the violent crime within the state, but on Friday, that violence became experiential for Zeldin. After nearly being attacked by a deranged man with brass knuckles, Zeldin correctly predicted that under De Blasio’s “No Bail” laws, his attacker would most likely walk free soon after the incident. The normalization of political violence within this country grow and may continue to do so in this political climate.
