President Biden baffled millions of people around the world Friday when he compared the political situation in Palestine with the oppression of Irish Catholics by the United Kingdom.

“My background is Irish-American. We have a long history, not unlike the Palestinian People, with Great Britain and their attitude towards Irish Catholics for 400 years,” said Biden.
