TYRANT TRUDEAU: Ottawa Police Start Mass Arrests of ‘Freedom Truckers,’ Tell Press to Stay Away

Police in Ottawa, Canada have begun arresting individuals with the ‘Freedom Convoy’ who refuse to leave the central city; warning they will face criminal prosecution, fines, and potential jail time for violating the country’s Emergency Act.

“Police began arresting protesters Friday in a bid to break the three-week, traffic-snarling siege of Canada’s capital by hundreds of truckers angry over the country’s COVID-19 restrictions,” reports the Associated Press.

“Freedom was never free,” said trucker Kevin Homaund, of Montreal. “So what if they put the handcuffs on us and they put us in jail?”

“All media who are attending the area, please keep a distance and stay out of police operations for your safety. Anyone found within areas undergoing enforcement may be subject to arrest. There will be a media availability later today at 474 Elgin Street,” posted the Ottawa Police Department on Twitter.
