By The FirstUS Treasury Secretary Yellen doubled-down on the Biden administration’s plan to enact the Green New Deal in the United States; saying the White House must “redouble efforts” to “decarbonize the economy.”
“The recent UN report confirms that our window of opportunity to leave our planet worthy of our children and our grandchildren is even closer to being permanently shut,” said Yellen.
“We must redouble our efforts to decarbonize our economies,” she added.
“They’re trying to destroy us. Until people accept this is intentional, nothing changes,” posted The First’s Jesse Kelly.
