THE GERMINATOR: Schwarzenegger Tells Anti-Maskers ‘Screw Your Freedom’

The former former governor of California has strong feelings on masks.

In a push to get more people vaccinated – and to mask up – Arnold Schwarzenegger appeared on his YouTube channel to share his thoughts on COVID.

“There is a virus here — it kills people,” Schwarzenegger said, “and the only way we prevent it is get vaccinated, get masks, do social distancing, washing your hands all the time, and not just to think about ‘well my freedom is being kind of disturbed here.’ No, screw your freedom.”

Arnie also touched on respecting CDC guidelines.

“We put the traffic light at the intersection so someone doesn’t kill someone else by accident,” Schwarzenegger said. “You cannot say, ‘No one is going tell me that I’m going to stop here at this traffic light here, I’m going to go right through it.’ Yeah, then you kill someone else and then it is your doing.”

More and more celebrities are coming out of the woodwork to push the vaccine – some are pushing a little too hard. Academy Award winner Sean Penn thinks they should be mandatory.

“I think that vaccines need to be mandatory and that businesses — the movie business and all businesses — need to take the lead and not be so timid when dealing with their collective bargaining partners,” Penn told Yahoo Entertainment.

Penn previously ripped into vaccine site staffers who complained about long hours.
