By The FirstFlorida Governor Ron DeSantis took a shot at the Biden Administration this week for failing to stymie record high gas prices and out-of-control inflation; DeSantis says “step up to the plate. Expand our own energy production.”
“This is the worst inflation this country has seen in over 40 years,” DeSantis continued. “We’re proud that we didn’t do like Washington and just spend like drunken sailors.”
Florida was “built for the long haul,” DeSantis added, even though Biden has put a “knee to the neck of the energy industry.”
“They’ve printed so much money in Washington—trillions and trillions of dollars,” he said. “That is what ends up happening when you flood the zone with all this printed money.”
“We need to start doing more domestic energy production like we were doing prior to this administration.”
