SPINELESS DEMS: Poll Finds Majority of Democrats Would Leave U.S. if Invaded GOP and Independents Would Fight

A new survey from Quinnipiac University found that the majority of Democrats would leave the United States if there was an invasion similar to the one currently happening in Ukraine.

“As the world witnesses what is happening to Ukraine, Americans were asked what they would do if they were in the same position as Ukrainians are now: stay and fight or leave the country?” Quinnipiac University reported. “A majority (55 percent) say they would stay and fight, while 38 percent say they would leave the country. Republicans say 68 – 25 percent and independents say 57 – 36 percent they would stay and fight, while Democrats say 52 – 40 percent they would leave the country.”

Former California gubernatorial candidate and conservative radio host Larry Elder shared the survey results on Twitter: “Poll: ‘If you were in the same position as Ukrainians, do you think that you would stay and fight or leave the country?” 68% of Republicans and 57% of independents would “stay and fight.” Only 40% of Democrats would stay. 52% would “leave the country.’”
