The ‘black’ in ‘black holes’ can’t have anything to do with race, right? Wrong, if you ask Nicholas Battaglia and Parisa Vaziri, professors of the class Black Holes: Race and the Cosmos.
According to DW, “The Cornell course also studies music by Sun Ra and Outkast to conjure blackness through cosmological themes.”
