By The FirstSpeaker Nancy Pelosi continued to tout the Democrats’ budget proposal Wednesday while Afghanistan spiraled out of control, saying “we had such a good day” as the military struggles to evacuate more than a thousand American citizens.
“We had such a good day in the Congress yesterday. I want to salute my caucus for the commitment to values that they demonstrated in accepting the president’s budget,” said Speaker Pelosi.
