By The FirstNew York Governor Andrew Cuomo is resorting to desperate measures to have all residents vaccinated by this summer; offering folks in the Big Apple a scratch-off lottery ticket with a grand prize of $5 million when they receive the injection.
“Today we announce a big new reason to get vaccinated: A chance to win up to $5 million! Get vaccinated at any of 10 state vax sites and receive a free NYS Lottery scratch off ticket with a grand prize of $5 million. Must be 18 or older,” posted Cuomo on Twitter.
Other states have offered incentives to those taking the medication, including New Jersey’s infamous “free beer” for the inoculated.
