LOESCH on BALDWIN: Blaming Others Does Not Absolve Personal Responsibility When Handling a Firearm

Dana Loesch weighed-in Monday on the Alec Baldwin-Shooting situation, saying the “top dog on set” has a personal “responsibility when handling a firearm.”

“He’s the top dog on set, producer, talent. Passing the responsibility to the armorer and prop department does not absolve one of the responsibility required when handling a firearm. Full stop,” posted Loesch on Twittter.

“No, all of the blame does not rest on the armorer and anyone promoting such ignores the top rule of gun safety: treat every firearm like it’s loaded. This is a film veteran who should know to do a press check with the armorer present and see what, if anything, is chambered,” she added.
