President Biden downplayed the significance of Senator Krysten Sinema’s bathroom confrontation with progressives today when Fox News’ Peter Doocy asked the President for a comment.
“I don’t think they’re appropriate tactics, but it happens to everybody. The only people it doesn’t happen to are people who have Secret Service standing around them. So it’s part of the process,” Biden said.
Conservative radio host Dana Loesch pointed out that Democrats have a history of these kinds of inappropriate tactics. “Democrats historically have never had an issue using harassment and violence against their political opposition,” Loesch said on Twitter.
Loesch’s followers agreed, citing the 2017 Congressional Baseball Game for Charity in which a gunman opened fire on GOP members, wounding House GOP Whip Steve Scalise.
