JUST GIVE THE GUY A TEST! Haley Says Cognitive Tests for Elected Officials Should Be Required

Former Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley has no problems with aging elected officials taking cognitive tests to ensure mental fitness, in fact she says it should be “required.”

According to the Independent Journal Review, “During an interview on the Christian Broadcasting Networking, Haley was asked if she has concerns about President Joe Biden’s mental health.”

And yes. Yes, she does.

“Well, what I’ll tell you is rather than making this about a person, we seriously need to have a conversation that if you’re going to have anyone above a certain age in a position of power — whether it’s the House, whether it’s the Senate, whether it’s vice president, whether it’s president — you should have some sort of cognitive test,” Haley said.

“Just like you have to show your tax returns, you should have some sort of health screening so that people have faith in what you’re doing,” Haley added.

President Biden’s flubs at the podium and frequent cat naps have more than just Nikki Haley concerned. Former White House doctor U.S. Rep. Ronny Jackson (R-TX) is urging Biden to take a test to gauge his cognitive abilities.

“We believe that, regardless of gender, age, or political party, all presidents should follow the precedent set by former President Trump to document and demonstrate sound mental abilities,” Jackson and his Republican colleagues wrote in a letter to Biden earlier this year.

Biden is the oldest sitting U.S. President in history.
