President Biden refused to accept any personal responsibility for record-high gas prices this week; saying he “can’t do much right now” because “Russia is responsible.”
Mister Biden was asked to comment on the situation during a trip to Texas, stating “Gas prices: They’re going to go up. I can’t do much about it right now. Russia is responsible.”
A gallon of gas now sells for $4.25, up from about $2.50 when Donald Trump left office.
