By The FirstAn old tweet from Joe Biden resurfaced on social media Wednesday showing then-candidate Biden promising to “take responsibility” and never “blame others” if elected to serve in the White House.
“Here’s my promise to you: If I’m elected president, I will always choose to unite rather than divide. I’ll take responsibility instead of blaming others. I’ll never forget that the job isn’t about me — it’s about you,” posted Biden in August 2020.
Biden clearly broke that promise this week when he repeatedly blamed high gas prices on Russia, Donald Trump, and oil executives.
