By The FirstWhite House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre baffled millions of Americans this week when she claimed that record-high voter turnout AND voter suppression “can take place at the same time.”
“Access to voting is being attacked,” began Jean-Pierre.
“But doesn’t the record turnout show that Georgia voters are finding ways to vote?” asked one reporter.
“I will not get into specifics about what Georgia voters are doing… Generally speaking, high turnout and voter suppression can take place at the same time,” she concluded.
