DURHAM CHARGES: FBI Arrests Source Behind Debunked ‘Steele Dossier’ for Lying to Feds

A Russian analyst who was used as a sub-source for the now-debunked ‘Steele Dossier’ used to spy on then-candidate Donald Trump in 2016 was arrested by the FBI Thursday for lying to federal agents.

“Igor Danchenko was busted as part of the probe into the FBI’s decision to investigate the wild allegations about Russia and Trump ahead of his victorious 2016 presidential election, a source familiar with the arrest told The Associated Press,” reports the NY Post.

“Danchenko had been the main source for Christopher Steele, a former British spy who was paid by Democrats to examine ties between Russia and Trump during the 2016 presidential campaign,” adds the newspaper. “It included the explosive allegation that Russian security services possessed a tape of Trump being urinated on by Russian prostitutes.”
