Florida Governor Ron DeSantis vowed to hold Twitter’s Board of Directors responsible for violating their “fiduciary duties” and preventing Elon Musk from purchasing the social media platform.
“The State of Florida’s pension system has shares of Twitter… To me, that’s an injury to the funds. We’re going to be looking at ways the State of Florida can hold Twitter’s Board of Directors accountable for breaching their fiduciary duties. Stay tuned for that,” said the Governor.
