By The FirstA-list actor Robert De Niro defended Joe Biden’s performance in the White House this week; telling late-night comedian Stephen Colbert that the president has a “tough” job and is “doing the best he can.”
“Having a new guy at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, are you sleeping better at night?” asked Colbert.
“Yes,” joked De Niro. “He got us into calm waters. He’s doing a very good job. It’s a tough one … He’s doing the best he can, and we’ve got to get through a bad period, period.”
