White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre insisted Thursday that the President is “working” to fight inflation; saying the United States is simply going through a “transition.”
“We understand what the American people are going through [and] the high cost that they’re dealing with. We understand what inflation is doing to gas and to food prices. […] We are coming out of a very strong economic period and now we’re going into a transition,” said Jean-Pierre.
