During his address commemorating the one year anniversary of Jan 6, Biden used the word “truth” more than 10 times. This didn’t go unnoticed by Senator Tom Cotton (R-AR) who felt President Joseph R. Biden may not be the best person to be lecturing Americans on the truth.
“Joe Biden lied about rescuing Americans from Afghanistan. He lied about his spending plan ‘costing zero dollars.’ He lied about GA’s election law. He lied about inflation, mandates, and his ‘plan’ to stop the virus,” Cotton tweeted. “Now, he’s lecturing us about ‘living by the truth’?”
On Afghanistan: “If there are American citizens left, we’re going to stay until we get them all out…any American who wants to come home, we will get you home.”
Thousands of Americans and American allies were stranded for weeks after the evacuation.
On Build Back Better: “My Build Back Better Agenda costs zero dollars. Instead of wasting money on tax breaks, loopholes, and tax evasion for big corporations and the wealthy, we can make a once-in-a-generation investment in working America. And it adds zero dollars to the national debt.”
According to the CBO, it will actually cost trillions of dollars.
“The president also claimed that Georgia’s new election law would block early voting and voting after work. Again, this was blatantly false,” the Daily Wire reports.
He says there’s no federal solution for COVID and his mandates are unconstitutional —pretty much everything he’s talking about is a lie or a misrepresentation of the truth.
Give em hell, Cotton.
