President Biden confirmed Thursday evening that he will visit Uvalde, Texas with the First Lady to “grieve with the community” after a lone gunman killed 19 children and two teachers at an Elementary School.
“On Sunday, Jill and I are traveling to Uvalde, Texas to grieve with the community that lost 21 lives in the horrific elementary school shooting,” posted Biden on Twitter.
“That’s the closest he’ll get to the border,” posted one user on social media.
“What about Waukesha?” asked another.
“And Chicago?” said another post.
