CNN issued a formal apology this week after the network referred to transgender TikTok star Dylan Mulvaney as a “man,” saying the network accidentally used “the wrong pronouns.”
“She was mistakenly referred to by the wrong pronoun. CNN aims to honor individuals’ ways of identifying themselves. We apologize for that error,” explained the anchor.
