By The FirstJoe Biden traveled to New York City Thursday where he met with Mayor Eric Adams to discuss the Big Apple’s spiraling crime wave; saying new rules on guns will not “violate anybody’s Second Amendment right.”
“This doesn’t violate anybody’s Second Amendment right… We talk like no Amendment was absolute… When the amendment was passed it didn’t anyone can own any kind of weapon… You couldn’t buy a cannon when this amendment was passed. There’s no reason why you shouldn’t be able to buy certain assault weapons… But that’s another issue,” said the President.
