BERNIE: Senate Must End Filibuster, Pass Pro-Abortion Bill with 50 Votes

Far-left Senator Bernie Sanders called for the abolishment of the filibuster Tuesday, saying the Senate must enact pro-abortion legislation with a simple 50 vote majority.

The Democratic-Socialist’s comments come hours after a draft Supreme Court opinion leaked that would potentially overturn the landmark Roe V Wade decision that legalized abortion nationwide back in 1973.

“Congress must pass legislation that codifies Roe v. Wade as the law of the land in this country NOW. And if there aren’t 60 votes in the Senate to do it, and there are not, we must end the filibuster to pass it with 50 votes,” said Sanders.
