AVOID AMERICA? Canada Warns ‘2SLGBTQIA+ Citizens’ About Dangers of Traveling to the USA

Canada updated its ‘travel advisory’ this week for members of its ‘2SLGBTQIA+ Community’, saying some state laws in the USA could pose dangers to Canadian citizens when visiting the country.

“Foreign laws and customs related to sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression and sex characteristics (SOGIESC) can be very different from those in Canada,” the website says.

“Every Canadian government, very much including our government, needs to put at the center of everything we do the interests and the safety of every single Canadian, and of every single group of Canadians,” said Canadian Deputy Prime Minister Chrystia Freeland. “That’s what we’re doing now. That’s what we’re always going to do.”
