By The FirstNYC Mayor Eric Adams blasted the Supreme Court’s decision to end Roe V Wade this week; saying the ruling will have a direct impact on the “women of this city.”
“Don’t kid ourselves. This is the erosion and destruction of the ability of women to have and be in power. Five men, who can never conceive, made a determination on what will happen to the women of this city and country,” said Adams.
The Court’s decision will send the issue of abortion back to local governments after providing federal protection for the procedure for nearly 50 years.
