A series of posters went up in New York City’s subway system in recent weeks advising drug addicts on the best practices for using heroin.
“Don’t be ashamed, be empowered!” begins the advertisement.
Tips include:
- Start with small doses
- Take turns
- Avoid using drugs alone
- Avoid mixing drugs.
This is shockingly irresponsible. ‘Take turns’?! A functioning well-groomed person in an ad? Does a young person read this and understand that fentanyl will destroy their lives? pic.twitter.com/2nCMuQzWlV
