The hypocrisy continues.
Former President Barack Obama celebrated his 60th birthday with several hundred of his closest friends. Pictures posted on social media showed party guests ignoring mask and social distancing best-practices. But it’s okay. It turns out smart people don’t get sick.
According to Fox News, “New York Times White House Correspondent Annie Karni discussed the controversy surrounding Obama’s much-criticized Martha’s Vineyard celebration where he was seen not wearing a mask and used the term ‘sophisticated’ crowd, saying that the guests were following all the safety precautions.”

And here comes the internet.
A NYT reporter on CNN justifying Obama's huge maskless birthday bash because he only invited "a sophisticated, vaccinated crowd" is about as emblematic of liberal discourse as it gets.

What happened to all the concerns about vaccinated people passing Delta to the unvaccinated? https://t.co/9g8qGkYQEO
Of course viruses don’t attack sophisticated people, Muffy! 🦠 https://t.co/l50zvvLZYG

You are truly a brainwashed sheep if you continue to listen to the government and restrict ANY part of your life after Obama's party.

Blue check public health Twitter doesn’t seem the least bit concerned about large gatherings at Obama’s house party.

Duly noted.
Seems like the NYT's stamp of approval for Obama's opulent, massive, indoor maskless party for the "sophisticated people" is a bit at odds with Dr. Fauci's demand this morning that motorcyclists stop acting like spoiled children by gathering outside:https://t.co/Fd0IT7pYbl

Not enough people are bothered that a grown man needed to have a birthday party for himself this badly. Could have easily just not had it or waited it out till the optics would be better.

It's the hypocrisy, everyone is to wear masks, vax or not, but not an issue there? Either masks are needed or they aren't.
