The one concern about the Pfizer vaccine

Markets reacted well to Pfizer’s announcement that their COVID-19 vaccine appears to be 90 percent effective in preventing coronavirus but one concern remains, Professor Vincent Racaniello told Mike Slater on Monday.

He explained how the “double-blinded” trial is being conducted as one group was given the vaccine while the other was given a placebo but the question of side effects is still of concern.

“Starting at 90 percent is a great sign… the only worry, of course, is whether there will be side effects.”
