So here’s a bold prediction: I think the Covid resurgence will subside sometime in the fall. As you know, I have a pretty good record of predictions but, of course, I could be wrong.
I’m basing my prognostication on the fact that vaccinations are on the rise again after plateauing. Also, Americans are fed up with masks and restrictions. Once about 75 percent of us are vaxxed, the virus is expected to wane.
There will always be resistance, and that’s allowed in a free society. But most Americans now understand the only way out of the pandemic is to take our medicine.
