NARRATIVE SHIFT: White House Now Claims POTUS ‘Was Never In Business With’ Hunter

There’s been a dramatic shift in the White House’s official narrative regarding President Joe Biden’s association with his son Hunter’s business dealings. During Monday’s press briefing, White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre assured reporters that “The President was never in business with his son,” a far cry from previous claims that Biden had never even discussed business with his son or met with associates.

Watch the video below:

“Chairman James Comer today says that the oversight committee has evidence that the president in the past communicated with foreign business associates of his son Hunter Biden many times,” Fox News’ Gillian Turner explained to Jean-Pierre. “Curious if the White House and the President still stand behind his comment that he’s never been involved and he’s never even spoken to his son about his business.”

“So, I’ve been I’ve been asked this question a million times. The answer is not going to change,” Jean-Pierre said to Turner. “The answer remains the same. The president was never in business with his son. I just don’t have anything else to add.”

The new narrative is a dramatic shift from previous claims from Joe Biden and the White House that the President had never discussed business with his son or any other member of the Biden family.

“I have never discussed, with my son or my brother or anyone else, anything having to do with their businesses…period,” Biden told reporters during a campaign stop in August of 2019.

Biden expressed a similar sentiment in September of 2019, telling Fox News’ Peter Doocy “I have never spoken to my son about his overseas business dealings.”
