KELLY: ‘Starting Today, I’ll No Longer Be Visiting NYC’ as Vaccine Mandates Begin

Jesse Kelly weighed-in Tuesday on the impending COVID vaccine passport requirements in New York City’, saying he’ll no longer visit the Big Apple over strict pandemic rules for Americans.

“Starting today, I’ll no longer be visiting NYC. A place I love and visit often. I suspect there are many like me,” posted Kelly on Twitter.

The debate over “vaccine passports” in Democrat-controlled cities is still a highly contested issue.

According to Fox News, “Acting Boston Mayor Kim Janey shot down talks of mandating proof of vaccination in the city, comparing such papers to the Jim Crow era and former President Donald Trump’s birtherism theories.”

“We know that those types of things are difficult to enforce when it comes to vaccines,” Janey, a Democrat, said when asked about vax passes. “There’s a long history in this country of people needing to show their papers — whether we talking about this from the standpoint of, you know, as a way to, after — during slavery, post-slavery, as recent as, you know, what the immigrant population has to go through,” she continued.

Meanwhile, the Big Apple is moving full steam ahead on vaccination passports. “It’s pretty straightforward. You check someone’s vaccination status at the door,” Mayor de Blasio said. “People check in to go to a restaurant or bar or anything. You check their vaccination status. If they have it great. If they don’t, turn around.”
