Washington, DC Mayor Muriel Bowser unveiled new covid regulations this week, including a vaccine mandate for all students -both public and private- over the age of 16.
“Beginning March 1, all students eligible for a COVID-19 vaccine that has been fully approved by the FDA (currently, 16 and older) must be immunized against COVID-19. Applies to DCPS, charter, independent, private, and parochial school students,” posted the Democrat on Twitter.
Other rules will require anyone over the age of 12 to show proof of vaccination before entering most indoor venues, including restaurants, gyms, entertainment venues, and other locations.
