‘GOING DOWN’: Dems Will Lose Senate in 2022 Midterms New Polling Suggests

We’re a year out, but polls are already asking about next year’s midterm elections. Democrats in Nevada, New Hampshire and Georgia will be particularly vulnerable in 2022.

According to Newsweek, “a single loss to the Republicans in 2022 would hand the Senate back to the GOP and a new poll shows Nevada Senator Catherine Cortez Masto may be vulnerable next year.”

“An internal poll from Cortez Masto’s Republican opponent, Adam Laxalt, conducted from September 11 to 15 shows Laxalt leading Cortez Masto by 39 percent to 37 percent,” Newsweek adds.

Senator Maggie Hassan of New Hampshire is also feeling the pressure of a tight race. A recent poll from Saint Anselm College shows Hassan’s challenger, Republican Chris Sununu, defeating her 49% to 48%.

Things don’t look much better for Senator Raphael Warnock down in Georgia. Warnock’s opponent will be former NFL player Herschel Walker; Walker is endorsed by former President Trump. A recent Public Policy Polling survey has Walker and Warnock just 2 points apart.
