FREE FALLING FREDO: Cuomo Book Canceled, HarperCollins Says ‘We Do Not Intend to Publish’

Fresh off of a national scandal, losing his job at CNN, and “stepping back” from his SiriusXM radio show, Chris Cuomo is getting his book canceled by HarperCollins.

Originally titled Deep Denial, the book was “a provocative analysis of the harsh truths that the pandemic and Trump years have exposed about America — about our strength and our character — and a roadmap of the work needed to make our ideals match reality,” according to the description on Google Books.

New York Times reporter John Koblin shared the news on Twitter.

“Chris Cuomo’s forthcoming book (originally titled DEEP DENIAL) from a HarperCollins imprint has been pulled. “We do not intend to publish the Cuomo book,” a HarperCollins rep tells me.”

Cuomo is reportedly preparing to sue his former employer CNN for more than $20 million in damages – sources close to the matter say CNN won’t give him a penny, as the blowback would be severe.
