Florida Governor Ron DeSantis addressed the Turning Point Action conference over the weekend; telling a packed crowd his job is to protect the people he represents at all costs.
“I got elected to standup for people. I can take the hit. I’m fine,” said DeSantis.
“My job is to protect the jobs of the people that I represent, and if…standing for their livelihood meant that it didn’t work out for me politically, so be it. That’s the price of leadership,” he added.
