BOEBERT BURN: Colorado Rep. Shreds Liz’s Lincoln Comparison in One RUTHLESS Tweet

Prominent GOP voices unloaded on party-traitor Liz Cheney after her landslide loss in the Wyoming GOP House primary; Cheney lost by more than 30 points to Trump-endorsed Harriet Hageman.

In her concession speech, Cheney compared herself to, arguably, the greatest President in the History of the United States: Abraham Lincoln.

“Abraham Lincoln was defeated in elections for the Senate and the House before he won the most important election of all,” Cheney said of the 16th president after she was soundly beaten by Trump-backed challenger Harriet Hageman.

“Lincoln ultimately prevailed,” Cheney went on. “He saved our union and he defined our obligation as Americans for all of history. Speaking at Gettysburg of the great task remaining before us, Lincoln said, ‘That we here highly resolve that these dead shall not have died in vain. That this nation, under God, shall have a new birth of freedom and a government of the people, by the people and for the people shall not perish from this Earth.’”

Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) wasn’t going to let Cheney get away with such grandiose remarks.

“Liz Cheney compared herself to Abraham Lincoln last night in her concession speech. Abraham Lincoln freed the slaves from the Democrats, he didn’t become a slave to the Democrats.”
