During his speech about threats to democracy Wednesday night at the Columbus Club in Union Station, near the U.S. Capitol in Washington, President Biden spoke about the violent assault on Paul Pelosi —and compared it to the January 6 riot.
“He woke him up, he wanted to tie him up…the assailant entered the home, asking ‘where’s Nancy’…the very same words used by the mob when they stormed the United States capitol on January the 6th,” Biden said.
