By The FirstCongresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez had a unique take on the Democrats’ disastrous Election Day; saying the results were actually “good news” because the progressive base was not “invited to contribute.”
“On the election front, I actually think we have good news! I know that Virginia was a huge bummer, obviously, if anything, I think the results show the limits of trying to run a fully, 100% super moderated campaign that does not excite, speak to, or energize a progressive base,” said AOC.
“Frankly, we weren’t even invited to contribute!” she added.
