TWO-STEP DOWN TO TEXAS: Gov. Abbott Tells Musk to Bring Twitter HQ to Texas

Texas Governor Greg Abbott has a proposition for Elon Musk: bring Twitter HQ to the Lone Star state.

After Musk purchased Twitter for a jaw-dropping $44 billion dollars, Abbott shared the invite on Twitter.

“@elonmusk. Bring Twitter to Texas to join Tesla, SpaceX & the Boring company,” Abbott tweeted.

Abbott also recently shared the news that Texas is number one for business due to low operating costs.

“Another reason why Texas is #1 for business: We have the lowest business operating costs in America.”

Abbott wasn’t the only governor to pitch Musk on a new home for the blue bird; Governor Kristi Noem of South Dakota says Musk is welcome to set up shop in her state.

“If Twitter is in need of a new HQ, South Dakota is open for business,” Noem tweeted.
