The Insanity of Pandering to the Woke Mob Summed Up in One Perfect Picture

Thousands of demonstrators hit the streets of Minneapolis, Portland, and other cities Monday night following the shooting death of a 20-year-old man in Minnesota; smashing private property in the name of “racial justice” and “social equity.”

At least 40 people were arrested after police were attacked with bricks, frozen soda cans, and other debris as the crowd chanted “Daunte Wright!” and “Hands Up, Don’t Shoot!”

“Prayers are not enough,” posted the Vice President on social media. “Daunte Wright should still be with us. While an investigation is underway, our nation needs justice and healing, and Daunte’s family needs to know why their child is dead—they deserve answers.”

According to Fox News, the officer was identified as Kimberly Potter, a 25 year veteran of the Brooklyn Center Police Department.

Body Cam footage apparently shows the officer confusing her non-lethal stun gun with her firearm.

Barack Obama and former First Lady Michelle Obama released a statement Tuesday afternoon.

“Our hearts are heavy over yet another shooting of a Black man, Daunte Wright, at the hands of police. The fact that this could happen even as the city of Minneapolis is going through the trial of Derek Chauvin and reliving the heart-wrenching murder of George Floyd indicates not just how important it is to conduct a full and transparent investigation, but also just how badly we need to reimagine policing and public safety in this country.

“Michelle and I grieve alongside the Wright family for their loss. We empathize with the pain that Black mothers, fathers, and children are feeling after yet another senseless tragedy. And we will continue to work with all fair-minded Americans to confront historical inequities and bring about nationwide changes that are so long overdue,” concluded the statement.
