By The FirstFlorida Governor Ron DeSantis wants to bring “the best, the brightest, and the bravest among us” into Sunshine State classrooms —his new program will help military veterans become teachers.
“Our veterans have a wealth of knowledge and experience they can bring to bear in the classroom,” DeSantis says.
“In Florida, we believe veterans have a wealth of knowledge and experience they can bring to the classroom, so we created a new program to help veterans become teachers. We stand by our veterans and want them in our classrooms.”
