SO LONG, LIZ: Wyoming Republicans Vote to No Longer Recognize GOP Congresswoman Liz Cheney

She broke Ronald Reagan’s 11th Commandment: thou shalt not speak ill of a fellow Republican.

According to the New York Post, too much Trump criticism has landed Rep. Cheney on the bench. “The party’s central committee voted 31-29 over the weekend to take the step against Cheney, the daughter of former Vice President Dick Cheney.”

“In February, the same body overwhelmingly voted to censure the congresswoman after she voted to impeach Trump on an article of incitement of insurrection in connection with the Jan. 6 riot at the US Capitol,” the Post adds.

“She is bound by her oath to the Constitution,” Cheney spokesman Jeremy Adler said. “Sadly a portion of the Wyoming GOP leadership has abandoned that fundamental principle and instead allowed themselves to be held hostage to the lies of a dangerous and irrational man.”

Trump has already endorsed Cheney challenger Harriet Hageman, who unsuccessfully ran for governor in 2018.
