PRESS SECRETARY: ‘Look, I’m Not Going to Define a Recession’

White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre echoed the administration’s latest talking points Tuesday, refusing to define what a “recession” is as millions of Americans continue to struggle financially.

“Have his economic advisors told [President Biden] they also don’t think a recession is likely?” asked one reporter.

“I’m not going to define [recession] from here. […] We have a strong labor market, which you don’t normally see in a recession,” fired-back Jean-Pierre.
