President Biden will attempt to establish some kind of credibility today with yet another covid speech. This time he will likely order federal employees to get vaxxed. Exceptions for religious beliefs (Christian Science) and medical conditions will be made.
Mr. Biden might surprise with some mask thing, but that won’t help him. Above all, the President must appear to be in command.
The Democrats generally support Covid mandates, so Mr. Biden knows he is in safe political territory with that kind of play. But Americans now understand he is a very shaky leader and that will overshadow whatever he does on Thursday.
